Tranquility

I awoke this morning, on the lanai for my usual wake and bake. It was dead silent; the powder blue mountain sky was replacing the night. I looked to my right and I could see five deer stepping gracefully through this peaceful little neighborhood. They were fearless and each beautiful animal stopped and locked eyes with me. I was at once thrilled and humbled in their presence, feeling ever the intruder in their dwindling world.

We will be heading back to Phoenix this afternoon and I have no doubts we won’t be waking up to any mornings in the seventies like here. So, with very little cell functionality up here, I will have to wait until I get on my computer later today to verify who exactly, but someone has joined my blog as my 100th follower! Hopefully, you will be able to provide me your address so I can ship you a signed copy of my book. So thank you so much for your readership and I am stoked because I also was able to get my new song started. So, if you are travelling, be safe.

Stay well.
