…of mice and men are aft gang afley.
My man Charles Dickens.
Seems like a very trippy dude.
I woke up this morning, had a hot cup of java, and turned on the news.
“Putin (aka BabyHead) is quoted as saying about his joke of an “invasion” of mighty Ukraine, “ Everything is going as planned.”
Really?
So, the “plan” was to send in hundreds of thousands of idiots to do the bidding of a dumpy little madman? Did the plan include shelling and launching missiles, even the banned cluster bombs, and killing innocent women and children? Was the “plan” to defy the sensibilities of the world? I suppose your brilliant plan included having your forty-mile convoy of troops and weapons of destruction stall out due to tightening fuel supply lines. The rumbling in the distance was not due to moving tanks, more like hungry bellies.
You think it’s bad now, Russia, time to batten down the hatches. That little shit is going to make the whole country suffer the consequences of his actions and plunge your economy into the Dark Ages.
I’m OK with that.
That dumbass senator Lindsey Graham is at it again.
She called upon all of her knowledge, experience, political guile and equanimity and then called for someone inside Vladimir Putin’s inner circle to assassinate the Russian tyrant.
Smooth.
Except it didn’t slip under the radar.
American diplomacy at its finest.
She is one that needs to pull her head out of her ass.
I have been hearing about escalating gas prices, but never really felt the effects personally.
Today I did.
Sixty-five dollars to fill our Highlander.
I remember the movie The China Syndrome starring Jack Lemmon, Jane Fonda, and Michael Douglas. The movie is still applicable to today’s world news.
My main man Wilford Brimley was great in support leading up to his masterful performance in The Natural several years later. There is a movie that I do not think gets its proper due when it comes to its place in Hollywood legend. The movie, directed by Barry Levinson, is already recognized as one, if not the best, sports movies of all time.
I take it a step farther.
With the acting performances and the incredible writing, I think it is up with the best movies ever, regardless of genre.
But that’s just me.
With the near-miss of a meltdown already, Shorty has captured two nuclear power plants.
No big deal?
Don’t count on it.
I continue to prep for my gig. Here is the marquee sign that shows me booked for the 30th of this month:

If you are in this area, I will buy your second beer if you show up.
As the mask mandates are eliminated and there is a semblance of normalcy that we are enjoying, have the hell-badass time and squeeze every single drop out this planet.
Stay well.
