I understand being steadfast and sticking to your convictions.
That dumbass Governor Kathy Hochul from New York decided to refuse federal assistance prior to the recent cold wave affecting the country.
She showed them.
Three of her citizens paid the price for her pride.
With their lives.
Just like the 31,000 and counting in Iran who have lost their existence for their beliefs.
It can steal not just your information, but your life. It can cause traffic accidents, plane crashes, start wars and kill people.
Not a word.
BUT put a few artificial yard markers on your TV screens in a football game and NOW….
Well, they’ve gone too far.

I’m sure that’s the exact same sentiment carried by the twenty-two-thousand Microsoft workers who lost their jobs to a computer science that we still don’t fully understand.
I was wondering if somebody, anybody, would get the balls to say something, anything, about the takeover of their country by a foreign dumbass?
Venezuela.
Venezuela’s acting leader, Trump-sanctioned Delcy Rodriguez, has the balls. How long she will keep them remains to be seen as the usual route for a “traitor” is one of silence and insignificance.
But she gets it.
“Enough of foreign powers!”
Priorities.
Promises have been broken.
Our citizens are rebelling.
Our justice system is perverted.
Our politicians are corrupt.
Graft is the norm in Washington, D.C.
Our children are struggling to make it to junior high school….alive.
We are the laughingstock of the world in education.
We’re always facing government shutdowns, empty coffers, and health and environmental challenges.
Our Constitution has been reduced to political litter.
But looky here: isn’t our new White House ballroom pretty?
Priorities.
Even the Republicans are telling their fellow party members to distance themselves from being associated with the Republican party if they want to win their mid-term elections.
Not exactly the “loud And proud” way they started this administration….
Common courtesy and acceptance won out over his push to ban DEI initiatives in schools and universities.
Why?
Because anyone with half a brain can see how backwards and ridiculous the mere thought is.

I have always got on my wife’s nerves on any given day, by choosing one word, just one, and overusing it ad infinitum until she’s had enough and lets me have it. Bonus points for intentionally mispronouncing it. Just another reason we have been together for forty years and counting…

The president has supplanted Kristi Noem with longtime rival Tom Homan to “clean up the mess” under her watch in Minnesota. This after a second American citizen was killed.
Talk about a slap in the face.
A slap in the face will do one of two things: she will either take it like a good little Republican dumbass or speak up about anything and be crushed like the little insignificant worm he thinks of all others except himself.
But at least we have a pretty ballroom.
