From Way up Here

Starbucks is closing 250 of its “underperforming” business units which sounds like a lot, except there are 17,750 that remain open with another four-hundred planned new openings.

Don’t cry for me Argentina.

I never understood why people were/are willing to pay ten bucks for a drink that has just about everything under the sun in it, except coffee.

But that’s me.

I’m an old buzzard.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t the only thing going wrong there.

Tonetta Evans, an eleven-time loser, was arrested after yet another string of crimes.

She is a microcosm of the issue in American “justice” (and I use that term in its loosest terms).

Why is she still out and about with eleven felony convictions on her resume?

Is our system of justice so neutered as to become irrelevant?

That dumbass douchebag John Fetterman, who looks like he escaped from the set of The Addams Family, has voted NOT to block the war in Iran, so as oil prices continue to climb, you can thank the Lurch lookalike.

Let’s see just how far he’s fallen…

In an emergency filing, the trump administration is asking the Supreme Court (again) to be allowed to send deportees to third-world countries that they have no affiliation with. trump’s hand-picked court already voted it down earlier yesterday.

So we don’t want them.

Their home country doesn’t want them.

But thank goodness for third-world countries that will gladly accept, starve, and torture them…for a fee.

That plucky old bird Susan Sarandon is still walking the talk. Arrested along with ninety-nine of her anti-Netanyahu protest brothers and sisters.

Keep kicking ass sister!

2028 is as good a time as ever to finally elect a woman president to lead this country.

Men will accept it if you frame it right for them.

Cage match.

Kamala Harris vs. MTG in a five-round winner-take-all death match.

I think MTG submits her in two.

Tennessee Democrat Representative Steve Cohen has filed twenty-six articles of impeachment against president trump.

One would let him know where you stand, but the other twenty-five are just going to make him think you don’t like him.

I will wrap up this post with my observations after the first month of college football:

Lane Kiffin, the coach you love to hate, has LSU looking deadly on defense, but I’m not sold on their QB Sam Leavitt. Georgia looks like they are back to their old selves, the Irish are still too volatile along the offensive line and all this speed I heard about on the defensive line, well I don’t see it yet. USC looked too weak on defense to make a serious run and let’s face it—my Cocker Spaniel Bruiser has won as many big games as Lincoln Riley. Michigan doesn’t have it, but I will still be rooting for them to knock off Ohio State but no one in the world appears able to stop wide receiver Jeremiah Smith from rewriting all the record books.

As they say, there is a whole lot of football left to play….

Stay well.
