Mark’s Musings

Blog #3

I hope the fooball fans are all back in their seats (at home), munching out and watching games. Here are my two cents on the NCAA football season: I think if form (and history) holds, Clemson, Ohio Stae, and Alabama will find their way into the playoffs This leaves Notre Dame and all the other, including teams that have yet to start their seasons, to fight for the coveted fourth spot. I also think an undefeated Notre Dame team will get an automatic in. Of course these are my opinions and not intended to affect the point spreads in any way.

I am trying to talk my wife into letting me get back in a band, or start up a duo for Happy Hours when they start being a thing again. I think she keeps waiting for me to grow up. I will be so glad when the onslaught of mudslinging political advertisements are done. I avoid addressing political issues unless I consider myself well-versed on the item in question. I am against anything that is divisive to our citizenry. You have to be so careful these days how you phrase everything so my words could be misconstrued (or taken out of context) to infer I am against the bi-partisan system, making me anti-American. Nothing could be further from the truth.

We can talk about life as an Executive French chef. Great life. I cooked in several resorts and retaurants at the Executive Chef level. At the height of my chef career, I weighed 285 pounds! Now that is a lot of heavy cream, rich veal stock, Hollandaise, and Beurre blanc to haul around.

We can talk all day about sports, writing, travel, music, food, music, or pretty much anything on your mind. I am still new to the whole blogging thing, so I am sure you will see me (and the blog) improve.

Be well.
