Today marks the fifth day of posting music and tomorrow I will pause my musical journey and go back to giving my slant on this slanted world we live in.
But first, check out this song I wrote in a short-lived blues/rock band I played in only a few short years ago. It has an iconic bass beat and has real potential (imho). It is a pretty sensitive subject (school mass shootings) and I wish it would never happen again, but we are, after all, human.
And I think it is a good song.
Simple, but good.
This is Lunchtime Assassin.
This next song is a jazzy-blues tune I wrote from one of my big brother Ed’s favorite expressions (which I am sure he stole from someone else). He used to tell me, “when it’s too tough for you, it’s just right for me.” I wrote it in 2024.
This is Too Tough.
This next song is my very last effort. It is a song I wrote six months ago, so 2025.
I give you Old Tom or Together Alone; I’m not 100%.
I have enjoyed presenting my original music (except Girl From Yesterday) for your perusal.
I will continue to record and post music, especially after the cool response I garnered from these last several posts.
Be nice to each other; we will all be dead and gone soon enough.
Stay well.
