You Caught Me

Here is the bluesy song You Caught Me. Mixes a little R&B (which I was raised on) and blues together for a jumpy little ditty. I’m sure when I show it to our guitar player, he will come up with a killer lead for it.

Once again, we are still in our embryonic stage as a band, so bear with us.

When we have some good clips I will get them to you

The weather is awesome and Pablo Diablo (bass player) and I are going to make a tee-time to stink up another course.

But we’ll have hell fun!

You Caught Me

Verse I

Woke up this morning

In the middle of the night

Did a couple lines I was

Feelin’ just right

Saw you comin’ got out of your way

I didn’t have much of nothin’ to say,

Chorus

‘Cuz you caught me

Yeah you caught me

No excuses

Red-handed

Yeah you caught me

Verse II

I mean it when I say

She means nothin’ to me

Ask her mother or her sister

Or her best friend Bree

I got nothin’ more to say

As you can plainly see

Chorus

That you caught me

Yeah you caught me

No excuses

Red-handed

Yeah you caught me

Verse III

You told me that you loved me

That you’d never leave my side

But I found out

That was just a lie

You said that I touched you

Like no one else before

You said that you’re a giver

But all you want is more

Chorus

“Cuz you caught me

No excuses

Red-handed

Yeah you caught me

Verse IV

I knew someday

My run would end

You’d put a stop

To my shenanigans

I’ve go nothin’ more to say

As you can plainly see

Chorus

That you caught me

Yeah you caught me

No excuses

Red-handed

Yeah you caught me

spoken: caught me with my hand in the cookie jar…..

end

Stay well.
