As promised (I’m really trying to get better following through on my promises) I am starting TODAY 2/10 with the first audio installment of my book which I am attempting to narrate myself. Look for my installments to majorly increase in quality as I learn what the hell I am doing. Remember “good things come to those that wait.”
Here is the preface:
Here is the story for the emotion “anger.”
It was so awesome looking at the full list of countries that have visited my website. It really is a small world if we would just open our arms and allow everyone in. In the meantime, I hope you feel a sense of anticipation and excitement as we move forward in 2021. Karen and I are still unable to get our Covid-19 shots scheduled, so we are “stuck” here until we are able to go. Of course if you have to be “stuck” somewhere, I hope it is clear-skied, sunny and 75 degrees like it is here in Arizona.
Looking forward to new adventures in southern Ohio. I like everything out there except the COLD. However, I do love big trees with leaves, lots of water, old architecture, and many professional and college sports teams. It looks like the Cincinnati Bearcats are the closest college team and the Bengals are the closest NFL team. But West—you have God’s Team—Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Indianapolis Colts, the Pacers, Indiana basketball and football, EAST—Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, Penguins, Eagles Pitt, Penn State, SOUTH—West Virginia basketball and football, Kentucky football and basketball, and NORTH—Detroit Lions, Ohio State and Michigan. Great area for sports.
When I lived there before, winters were usually spent in warm PJ’s, slippers, robe, and plenty of Uncle Mark’s “medicine.”
I am also hoping to restart my happy hour gigs with which I have enjoyed past success. It’s fun, no hassles with band members, and I’ll keep doing it as long as I get paid and can remember the words to the songs.
Here is my playlist from 10 years ago.
It’s funny because when I got into a local rock band ten years ago, I told Karen I was excited for the opportunity to learn new music. However, after we got together and jammed, I didn’t have to learn any new songs at all. Our band playlist had all the songs I play out as a solo gig as Markus. When I questioned our bad-ass lead guitar player about it, he just brushed it off with “that’s what they want to hear.”
So, let me know through email or the blog what is up. I’d love to hear from you.
