That goofball Kevin McCarthy, the ersatz Speaker of the House, is fucking up again. After the biggest joke of EIGHT different elections to get elected, he is being laughed at by his political peers and evidently, has as much grasp of legislation as do my two Cocker Spaniels Bruiser and Murphy.
They are dogs (don’t say that too loudly around them) and they are a very close second. But his litany of fuck-ups are not even the worst thing he has going for him.
His biggest and most vocal (when is she not?) supporter is none other than that crazy bitch Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Not in a million years.
I could NEVER get drunk enough…

I will be stoked if this is THE GUY and we can get down to business and I can start writing some more and we can start building our playlist to start playing out.
We’re building this band from the ground up, so a website, and marketing are crucial since we are coming a little late to the party as far as summer bookings go.
I know I talk a huge load of BS on occasion, but you will have heard it here first:
We will become known.
Sedona.
I promise I’ll post vids from practice when I can.
The last few days I stopped and took a breath and thought Do I really want to go and front a rock/blues band at 68? Do I still have the juice?
But brothers and sisters, if you haven’t played loud rock and roll music and made people put down their beers and hit the dance floor, you won’t know what I am talking about.
The musicians do.
So, fingers crossed again. I already like this guy because he has a nickname. He can def play, he sent us samples and he also has a large practice area and a PA so I won’t have to bring mine (all plusses). We are going down there Saturday at 1pm, so I will post the results in that evening’s blog.
I absolutely love playing solo gigs, but there is something about being on stage with three brothers and that first power chord of the night that rattles empty beer glasses and bottles on the bar.
That feeling.
Never say never.
So, back into the fray go I, after swearing off all the negatives of being in a band, I am now in my last band.
The cool thing is the last four songs I’ve written are my best ever and that is the other thing about the emotions I get when I hear one of my songs being played by an entire band.
Stay well.
