Would you really risk life and limb of yourself and your family to try and migrate to the United States? Evidently, it is worth the risk for tens of thousands per day.
Man, this country can’t take care of the citizens it has now.
As long as our political climate remains so polarized, there will be those that remain diehard isolationists (we can dream can’t we?) and those that will welcome the world and figure out the logistics later.
I’ll say this.
It is a much happier place when people are welcoming and friendly for no other reason, than say, because that’s how their grandparents and parents raised them.
The recent Hamas-Israeli war has brought out a very previously-silent group of students educated at our highest institutions of learning.
Calling for death.
I don’t care what your cause, if that’s your goal, you are fucked up. Talk about wasting Mom and Dad’s money…And you are the next Trumps, Bidens, Disantis’, et al.
Scary.
United’s X-59 gets you to London from New York in ninety minutes.
Wow.
That’s what the world said back when the SST Concorde could get you there in about four hours.
You wanted a bigger store, stocked to the brim with shiny new sports merchandise. Nike’s store in Los Angeles was just ransacked by a “flash mob” that made off with twelve thousand dollars of merchandise.
I honestly think retail stores are a living dinosaur; they are destined to shrink to fewer outlets with hyper-security measures.
Sounds fun.
And how the hell does a group of people suddenly find themselves in the same place with the same nefarious intentions and decide to act as one and rob a retail outlet?
We can’t find any TWO people that can agree on ANYTHING.
Especially in our political arena.
I wonder if any of the sentenced defendants from the Jan. 6th revolt will hit the capitol steps again if Douchebag Trump beats Douchebag Biden in the upcoming presidential election.
I find it very unlikely.
This whole transgender thing has given second life to male athletes. If they start to claim they identify as a girl, they can become a champion!
That’s if they can get anyone (females) to compete against them.
I’ve got our bird in the oven and all the side dishes ready to be brought to temp, so I can relax for a few. I butter-baste the bird every hour as the bird leaks her tasty juices to form my roux for tightening the gravy.
We, Karen, Bruiser, Murphy, and me, will dine on turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, and fruit salad. Oh, and crescent rolls. And pumpkin pie.
Anymore, just getting around the calendar one more time is quite an accomplishment.
Congratulations.
I have an appointment with my Lifestyle Coach next week.
I am sure she will be telling me I am doing everything exactly right.
I have no doubts.
I am hoping that everyone has a peaceful Thanksgiving.
Stay well.
