The Whole Story

By now the aircraft collision over the Potomac River is old news, but you can’t look away, either.

The same with the D.C. crash.

I hate that about human nature.

I also wonder how long it will take to uncover the whole story about what really happened.

We know it’s coming. Nothing ever happens exactly as it appears.

More statistics showing our children are not learning at the highest levels of civilized nations.

I have a theory. (Of course I have a theory; I have a theory about everything).

I believe that what the children in the United States had to go through: the whole pandemic that disrupted their entire academic and social lives, and the pervasive fear as disease took friends and family members, all of it.

I believe it made our children tough. And they had to learn one of life’s most valuable lessons.

How to adapt.

I think that toughness and adaptability are going to make them better leaders, when given the opportunity.

You can make the argument that they are plenty smart enough.

I mean, just look at the dumbasses running our government right now.

Speaking of which, of course China, Mexico and Canada have imposed tariffs of their own on US goods. Did we think they were just gonna bend over and grab their ankles?

So now, we ‘ve already put our own economy in the crapper, let’s further drag down three more countries with us.

Everybody gets to pay higher prices.

I’ve started lifting weights to build my arms back up as I am hoping (fingers crossed) to be golfing this Spring.

I thought it was pretty cool to see the best golfers in the world struggle through the nasty weather at Pebble Beach today. Us mere mortals get a kick out of seeing our heroes hit shots that we might hit.

That reminds me of the time my late cousin Al and I were golfing on a nicely appointed Arizona course. I was actually having a good round (good for me anyway) and I hit a drive that meandered a little right of the fairway towards a small lake. Stopping just short, I approached my second shot, but had to move a stick that was a foot in front of my Titleist. When I picked it up, the stick wiggled in my hand and I almost died. It was a snake and I did not take any time to try and determine what type of snake and whether or not it was dangerous.

My ass was gone

I’m almost done with my antibiotics and I think they are working. I don’t want to jinx anything, but I think it is starting to feel better.

Man I am really hoping…

I’ve been practicing but have slowed way down in the writing. My inspiration is fleeting and only visits sporadically.

You can bet the farm that if the war in Ukraine comes to an end, another will soon take its place.

War’s a moneymaker and it’s good for the economy.

Mark my words…

Stay well.
