I got a call last night from someone who had taken an order for 2 dozen roses for me to deliver to my special girl yesterday and they said sorry but I was not in their delivery radius.
I looked over to Karen and she knew already.
Thirty-five years of marriage will do that to you.
In typical fashion, she was genuinely touched that I had tried to get it done. That’s how she is.
I wish everyone on this planet no matter what, where, or who, the same joy I get when I look over to my wife and once again, feel grateful that she walked down Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara and into my life.

There are NONE better than others; there are only bigger countries. Bigger, though many times popular, is not always the way to go. I know, I was on both the giving and receiving end of going to blows with fellows much larger than myself (shots of V.O. and Bud chaser=courage).

I was glad to see the Canadian truckers disperse rather peacefully. I have a great deal of respect for truckers and the vital role they play in society.
