I’m really getting tired of the Blue news and how the different newscasters carry that same smug nod-nod-wink-wink salacious bullshit attitude as if they had anything to do with anything.
Instead of mobilizing to accomplish something of merit, they are content to keep fanning the flames of revolution. The thing is, there aren’t enough people in this country that think it’s so bad that a major overhaul of our core values is necessary.
Yes, progress is slow. With so many people dissatisfied, they don’t seem to want to wait. They are also having trouble finding issues which they can dissect to show how badly the current administration is performing.
All of us undergo the often-painful, but unavoidable aspects of peer pressure.
It’s part of growing up.
I was bullied.
Once.
I lost the ensuing fight, but the fact that I stood up to this asshole solidified the fact no one else would fuck with me.
I am not a fighter by any means, but I have also had enough injuries and surgeries that harden my resolve, and a person like that in a fight can be extremely dangerous.
It looks like John and Paul are pushing for the name Sedona for our band.
I like it.
We are still hoping to get a drummer soon, as I have a couple eager club owners that have pledged gigs when we are ready.
I am still writing and we will practice today and I told the boys I want to complete two songs as our goal today.
Start to finish, intro to fade out.
I am continuing to write, and am currently working on a country song, The Dog and the Cat Stay With Me. It is coming along slowly, but surely.
I hope to see my Manchester United Reds beat Newcastle United in about five minutes. They need to win to keep up with the league leaders, and all of a sudden Tottenham is breathing down our necks for the top four slots to qualify for Champions League play next year.
First half over.
No goals, and Newcastle appear to be the most aggressive of the two, but I like our potential substitutions and feel we might get more aggressive as we add Fred to pose more of a threat from midfield. Once again, Bruno does not look good. Maybe this is signaling the end of a career.
Marcus hasn’t been able to fashion any offense, either, so I am hoping for an early goal when the match resumes.
Starting to get excited for band practice today and really hope we can get a drummer soon.
I will try and get a vid of our progress as we finish forming the band Sedona.
I am taking my PA today, so I am sure practice will go much easier on my pipes. The weather is starting to warm up, and Spring is starting to take hold. Soon, the leaves will reappear and my butt will be out on the golf course, just in time for The Masters.
Stay well.
