A couple years ago I wrote this book whilst sitting around, getting stoned, and reminiscing about this wild ride I have been on since the year 1954.
I have always enjoyed short and powerful as opposed to long and flowery, although in good writing, there is room for every genre. So what I did was I took the short story and then distilled it down to a short-short story.
Then I shortened it.
My aim of maximum emotional impact through an economy of words was achieved in EMOTIONS: Not your Mama’s ABC’s!
The book was arranged in an alphabetical order listing different stories to highlight emotions such as A for anger and B for bashful, etc. all the way to Z for zealous.
This book was originally titled EMOTIONS WTF? but I was forced to rename it because the acronym made my little book an “adult genre” book hence the name change.
So, today I post the preface under the letter “A” followed by the very first story in the book illustrating the emotion anger.
It is titled My Furry Friend.
