LIfe is all about options.
The choices we make, the reasons we come up with to justify our actions, and the consequences we ultimately must pay for them.
There is a balance to the universe and it is even more simplistic than the concept of yin and yang and the balance it perpetuates.
Right and wrong.
That’s it.
Is your action right or is it wrong? Was it justified?
It disgusts me when I think of how we, as a society, have failed to progress past the obvious, and instead have chosen to waste our time, energy, and resources on semantics and legal conceptualizations whereby the very worst element—human emotion seeps into the equation.
Don’t get me started on the justice system.
My father sent in a letter titled “That’s Justice Brother” that was published in the paper in the seventies so I get my interest in the subject honestly.
Of course our political system is polluted; a very small chosen few representing hundreds of millions of people. They have access to everything and they do not pay a cent for housing, food, cable TV, you know, all the things the other Americans (us) have to pay for AFTER paying our money to our government.
WE still have to pay for everything else, trying to raise families, get them educated, and producing good citizens to lead this planet into the uncertain future.
I could give a damn about Trump.
The guy is a crook on the brink of a second presidency, but nobody gives a shit. Certainly not his own appointed Supreme Court Justices including fellow crook Clarence Thomas, sitting there smiling, since his is a lifetime appointment and he keeps his ability to steal from us and anyone else who wants to buy his support.
I could give a damn about Kamala Harris.
She is the best the Democrats have to offer with literally no one else able or qualified from EITHER party?
I just want the attitudes and hatred to subside (asking for it to end is a pipedream for sure).
I want to see children playing unsupervised outside everywhere in a society that cherishes every man, woman, and child as if they were family.
Because we ARE family.
The family of man.
I know my old hippie sentiments are showing.
So many people do not believe in anything further than skin color or country of origin.
And this whole immigration thing.
Either have open borders or closed borders.
Pick a lane.
You cannot tell me there aren’t enough dishonest douchebag business people in our country that can figure out how to fuck over all these hopeful, downtrodden people?
Come on, we’re better than that!
How does a country get a trillion dollars in debt? What if it was in the private sector?
Can you imagine the CPA that turned in that Balance Sheet?
We need to borrow money from drug dealers and terrorists if we want to survive.
