As head of the recently-formed DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), one of the first actions he is taking is reducing the budget of the data collection program under the Department of Education by nine-hundred million dollars.
Think about it.
Trump made his bones in the business arena, so who better to appoint than the most anti-government person and best businessman with most to gain and put him in charge of making government more efficient?
I don’t know what is more unbelievable.
The reduction of 90% of the program’s budget, or the fact they were given a billion dollars in the first place to track the academic progress of America’s students.
Data collection?
What kind of bullshit is this?
What the hell were report cards for?
Diplomas?

DJT’s choice for the new head of the Department of Education, Linda McMahon, has been described as having a “clinical business mind,” and very much like Trump, she is positioned as the anti-politician appointee.
She absolutely can’t do any worse than the Biden administration accomplished (or didn’t accomplish) for education during their run..
The president has stated his intention to assume the Chairmanship of the Board for the Kennedy Center.
Why not be the leader and controller of the art world?
