I’m back in sports heaven now that college football games and English Premier League football matches have resumed, so I continue my posting of songs I have recorded and/or written. I will resume writing in the more conventional way after Monday night’s TCU vs North Carolina game.
Four straight days of music, this time all three songs are mine. The first is titled You Know That it’s You and I wrote it about a crazy-good looking girl I met and never had the stones to approach, so it is all unrequited.
Let me know what you think.
Second on the agenda is a bit of a departure for me, as it is the only song I ever wrote (so far) that I believe has “crossover potential” to sell. It has an infectious rhythm that is easy to see it dancing on the Pop charts for a few weeks.
Now, if I could just get Taylor Swift to cover it, I won’t have to worry about what Trump is doing to Social Security…
Here is Lovers and Players.
Let me bring the room down just a little bit (dim lights)…
Allow me to present Baby I Love You, a song I wrote a year and a half ago (2023) as a love letter to my soulmate of forty years… my wife Karen.
Think power chords and this song should send you, if not chills, at least a shudder or two.
Stay well.
