Beast Mode

I am over the shock of all the anti-transgender nonsense in the news.

It’s from the top down…

The hook said She is attending college but can’t read or write. Now she is filing suit against her school district.

Girl might not be literate, but she is not stupid. I still hate this type of weak-ass shit which tries to extricate dumbasses out of responsibility and find someone or something to blame for their inadequacies.

There are a lot of good trade schools out there too, you know.

The president is stepping up timber production (no doubt which will find a way to fuck over Canadian wood imports) even though some of his approved projects will harm several endangered species.

Not sure we’re living in the same world, bucko.

With the direction this country and planet are heading, WE are the endangered species.

When you peel back all the posturing and hot air, some of the things he says actually make sense to me.

Just don’t tell my wife.

After watching my beloved Manchester United Red Devils stink up Old Trafford and get beaten by Fulham, thus ending their quest to defend their FA Cup, I am fighting back every instinct I have to insist they sack the manager.

Ruben Amorim does not appear to be the man for the job.

He is intractable.

His way or the highway.

Not work with what you have and find ways to compete and win and THEN, after you get the players to fit your system, THEN you implement the system and begin to fine tune the machine.

Faced with the same obstacles he has encountered (the obstacles ALL teams face), he just hasn’t managed his way to enough wins, and even more concerning is the lack of development of the players on the roster. No one is showing improvement.

The reason we lost to Fulham and the reasons we are non-factors in the English Premier League are many and sundry:

If you have watched any matches under Amorim, you will see a mish mash of has-beens, never-will-be’s, and inexperienced colts with absolutely no direction whatsoever. The injuries are ridiculous, but every team has to deal with them.

In this day and age, fans are not patient with the rebuilding process teams must occasionally go through.

They want to win.

Now.

I would normally be the one yelling, “Sack him!,” but I say give him next season, and if we are not playing Champions League football in 2026, adios.

Not European football.

Champions League.

No excuses.

It appears that the new ownership group led by Sir Jim Radcliffe is trimming away some of the administrative fat, so to speak, so now, spend some of that spent money in the next transfer window.

Get us a world-class (not a phenom, rising star, or young player with all the potential in the world) striker, someone who can fill up the goal and still has several productive years left.

While you’re at it, a great midfielder would free up captain Bruno Fernandes to roam and play in a more needed offensive position.

Now we’ll see how the Reds finish up the season…

Stay well.
