Brilliant

A reporter was robbed on live television in Qatar, where the 2022 World Cup is being played. In a most refreshing story, the victim of the crime was asked what punishment should be meted out to her assailant.

Wishful thinking.

Although the six consecutive life sentences that Darrell Brooks received sent a message, loud and clear, that in Wisconsin, you can kill children and adults, but don’t mess with our Grandmas.

I love college football, but trying to posture Herschel Walker as a viable ANYTHING let alone a United States Senator, is just plain ridiculous. If you look hard enough, you can almost see the strings being pulled to animate him. I mean, I can see him talking, but he never read or said those words before in his life. As much of a bumpkin as he is, I do agree with his position on keeping transgender athletes segregated from others in all competitions.

Who’s next?

When you are saying prayers over dinner on Thursday, save one for Brittany Griner. I am sure hers won’t be much of a celebratory day. I shudder to think what she would be having to deal with if she wasn’t a famous athlete.

The females in Iran are losing their lives as they dare to defy the teachings and edicts of their nation’s leaders; dirty rotten liars that they are.

They need our prayers.

The females, not the leaders.

I can’t imagine record numbers being spent on Christmas this year. I mean, I thought I heard that people are quitting their jobs and are living at home.

I still don’t get that.

We couldn’t wait to get out of the house and into our own place. I just can’t see being a thirty year-old houseguest at my parent’s house.

I was watching the American Music Awards show and they listed one-by-one the entire lineup, some twenty strong, and I recognized one name.

Lionel Ritchie.

That was it.

I admire his talent, but his face looked like it had so much plastic work done, I thought for sure, that it was going to melt all over the French baguettes and Devonshire butter swirls.

I think it should be mandatory that all deaths in the United States be handled with Viking funerals.

Baseball player Aaron Judge will be negotiating a new contract before next season, and you could probably fund the economy of a decent-sized European country with what he will sign for.

The man is an awesome athlete, but where is the disconnect that sees an entertainer make so much more than the people that parents trust to teach their children and shape them into the leaders of tomorrow?

My “retirement” job was assisting educators, principals, and administrators, what they needed to attain certifications and licensures to maintain their standings or to qualify for advancement opportunities.

Maddogg has mad respect for teachers at ALL levels.

In many cultures and civilizations on Earth, teachers and senior citizens are respected and listened to.

Evidently, Americans are too smart for that.

Stay well.
