Of course, I’ll begin with the hapless comedy of errors which is what my beloved Manchester United Red Devils have become.
I still don’t get it.
This team’s storied offense is now not one bit offensive. After having overpaid to attract mid-tier level talent, the team is paying for it now. It looks like every single player on the team knows only the safety of a backwards pass as opposed to actually trying something as simple as looking for an opening upfield (towards the goal) where their inexperience and lack of skills might be exposed by trying to (gasp!) actually attempt a shot on goal!
They have little to no team speed.
The roster is full of has-beens and never-will-be’s.
They can’t keep possession of the ball.
The last I checked, you can’t score unless you possess the ball.
They have no defense to answer ANY style of attack.
If Sir Jim Radcliffe and company have the patience and business savvy to rebuild the Reds, Ruben Amorim might be a good choice for manager, but so far, I haven’t seen him overcome any of the obstacles of a Premier League season that ALL managers face at one time or another.
The good ones show incremental improvement.
The great ones find ways to win in spite of injuries, fouls, and sickness.
So far, he hasn’t shown me squat.
If Amorim really wants to get people other than us diehard Red fans to have a reason to believe, he will bring home the FA Cup to Old Trafford.
After today’s loss to Spurs, it would only be fitting to gain redemption over Tottenham in the Europa Cup final.
The great state of Utah is banning collective bargaining for teachers and their unions.
How open-minded of them.

Of course, they do have a deep, rich history of Nazism beginning with their dominant religion.

Being a teacher is no longer the easy money glamor job it used to be (that was a joke).
Low pay, long hours, and overcrowded classrooms combined with inadequate funding are not exactly enticing to the new-age graduates.
And this is how we treat the people entrusted with the honest-to-God future of our cities states, and nations. They are having to “make do” as they prepare and educate fresh new minds and help mold them into the leaders of tomorrow.
Pay them.
So what to do when you have a backlog of cases that are piling up?
The Justice Department, er DOGE, er Elon Musk, fired several immigration judges today. Now I didn’t go to Wharton School of Business, but mama didn’t raise no cornpone.
Less judges does not mean less cases.
But he’s the business genius with 180 billion dollars in the bank.

Now I have no idea what the turning radius of an aircraft carrier is, but the merchant ship? You’ve got to be a couple of real Klondikes to collide on the open sea.
