You see stories of the unabashed hatred some people have for transgender people and I am the last one to understand it, but I don’t hate what I don’t understand. I either study it in depth or move on to another subject.
And the world somehow keeps spinning…
So I don’t understand the resistance to having transgender people enlist in our military services.
These PEOPLE have taken a solemn oath to serve, protect, and defend our Constitution and our country from all enemies foreign and domestic.
So shut the fuck up, let them enlist with no special provisions save those you would extend to any other human being serving our country.
All that being said, I am nowhere near as cool as I sound because I think I would be of a different mindset if I had children.

The egghead “experts” (and I use that term very loosely) on Quantum Physics postulate that “death doesn’t exist and may just be an illusion.”

Maybe, just maybe, the Gen Z’ers, who are already on record as not abiding by past traditions, are even smarter.
They have already made cigarette smoking an anachronism and now, they are not drinking alcohol as much, so they are not falling for the usual traps that my generation (and those that came before) did.
Senate Minority leader Chuck Schumer should start standing up to the current administration instead of taking so much time to arrange exactly how to discuss how the Democrats plan to oppose them.
The lack of leadership cost the Democrats the election and, at last check, NEITHER party appears to be grooming the next generation of dynamic, critical-thinking young leaders.
Or are NO elections the New Normal?
