All I have heard now for months on end, as if it is some sort of magic cure for everything, is wait until the Republicans win the House, then you’ll see…

You can’t even decide on who the next Speaker of the House will be.

I gotta be honest with you.

Unless there is some hidden magic tsunami of support waiting to happen, I have come to the conclusion that the 2024 election won’t be the landslide Republican victory they expect.

No, it will be close.

And if they keep dividing their party, this segmentation may cost them the election.

I got so stoned the other day that I had the absolute worst and scariest daydream of my entire sixty-eight years on this planet.

I was in a beautiful house overlooking the beach.

I walked to the balcony and I was smoking a bowl of some wacky stuff.

I remember saying to myself in the dream, you are in a dream, so enjoy yourself.

The next thing I see far in the distance, a female form with blonde hair is approaching me.

I walk down the path past the tidepools and the reeds and a few gulls flapped my arrival as they launched into the cool dusk.

I kept walking and it seemed like I was never going to reach her, whom I had assumed to be my soulmate Karen.

Everything was perfect and I was beaming.

The soft sand oozed through my toes and I finally reached her, but she was turned around.

Not facing me.

As I lightly touched her arm to turn her, I could see it was NOT my soulmate.

It was Marjorie Taylor Greene.

I woke up screaming.

And no sooner did I call out the Moscow Police Department for the murder of four University of Idaho students, they get them a suspect.

And what a doozy.

This Kohberger fella is quite the serial killer, including mastering the chilling serial killer stare for the benefit of cameras and spectators.

I bet he thought he was smarter than the cops who caught him. He was studying for his Doctorate in Criminology.

He can depart planet Earth and in a just nation unencumbered from judicial and legislative inefficiency, he would do so quickly and be done with it.

I am thinking that when I am over everything, I will pass a law that takes away the prison warden’s bonus if any Death Row inmate is there longer than thirty days.

Boom!

One more thing when I am over everything, there will be no such ridiculous horseshit as pardons.

Guilty is guilty.

You don’t call an innocent person up in a year saying you made a mistake and now are waiting for a call from the governor.

I hope everyone is in the swing already for 2023.
