I would really like to say that I feel sorry for the money grab-gone-south aka the LIV Golf Tour which just filed for bankruptcy. I would also really like to say I feel sorry for John Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau as they are reduced to multi-million-dollar creditors, standing in line with their hands out with everyone else.
I really would.
But I don’t.
Just like I would like to say that it’s a tragedy instead of poetic justice, when a crocodile in a “wildlife park” finally got fed up with being imprisoned, taunted, and generally fucked with so he got “fed up” by eating one of his perceived tormentors.
Do you want to prevent this 100% preventable tragedy from recurring?
How about animals stay in your space and humans stay in yours?
Boom!
Did I just do it again?
All around the United States of America, it is now officially hunting season.
On kids.
Why not?
Lindsay Clancy got a free pass after strangling her three kids to death and then saying she really shouldn’t be held responsible because she merely “temporarily lost her grip on reality.”
And one idiot juror bought it.
Copycats.
Kids, when Mom says, “clean your plate,” you’d better do it.
Or else.
DJT can only dream of receiving the kind of love and applause showered on former First Lady Michelle Obama at last night’s U.S. Open tennis semifinal between Coco Gauff and the world’s new number one women’s player Elena Rybakina.
The overhyped Coco Gauff failed to pull off the upset, but something tells me Rybakina will have to come up with some magic of her own to beat the Belarusian Bomber Aryna Sabalenka for the title who is probably still pissed off she lost her number-one ranking (at least for this week) to her finals opponent.
I can’t wait for the match on Saturday morning.
They will still probably complain about the tip…
Some dumbass ex-lawyer (the first clue, Sherlock) tried shooting his ex-wife in a restaurant, but the dumb shit left the safety on, giving a waiter time to wrestle the fat bastard to the ground.
Toledo, Ohio, man.
I used to live there.
Even with the ever-widening gap between economic classes in this country, you should still feel a little sorry for people whose multi-million dollar coastal homes are being threatened by waves in Laguna Beach, California.
Just a little.
I used to live there, too.
It took long enough…
At the Republican midterm convention, Canadian Ted Cruz fired up the crowd, instigating them to show their true colors and feelings about their Democratic party adversaries.
“He should be shot!” was the “cheer” of the mob as that squat little douchebag senator from Texas did nothing to settle the situation down.
Loser.
This post will go live tomorrow at 9:00 EST, and today, September 11th, is one of the rare occasions I, the loquacious one, have no words (except these).
I sat and cried through the readings of the victims’ names and their families’ testaments.
This date still elicits anger in me.
I remember back on that day twenty-five years ago and as I was watching the second plane hit, wondering what could possibly make someone mad at us or crazy enough to do such a thing?
I don’t know which bothers me more: Listening to the names of the victims read aloud or knowing that somewhere else on this planet, there are people cheering after hearing each name being spoken.
Stay well.
