Election Day

I would like to say I am happy about the fact that they are phasing out the killing of dogs for food, but just thinking about it reminds me of the needlessness of doing it in the first place.

Welcome to the first step in becoming a civilized nation and joining the human race South Korea.

It’s about time.

Fat Elvis.

Classic.

Some are saying that the president is entering his “fat Elvis” stage of life, and many will say old Divot Head has been there for some time now.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that many investors operating in this most volatile period of history are developing FOGO—a fear of getting obliterated in the market.

Idiots.

Maddogg has done it again.

The solution?

Don’t “play” the stock market.

ANYONE in the stocks, bonds, and financial markets should read their history books and realize that the market is at best, a guessing game, so anyone capable of critical thought will clearly see they are just “playing Las Vegas” with their money, just without all the neon lights and plastic waitresses.

I sold stocks, bonds, and investment vehicles for a Wall Street firm and I never once painted a picture of risk-free pipe dreams and wealth.

I never reminded them of the Great Crash and resultant Great Depression that started in 1929 and lasted a full twelve years before the economy was restored—when we went to war.

I always started my pitch with the warning that nothing was guaranteed, and I lost plenty of leads and customers because of that, but unlike my co-workers, I had trouble lying to the face of clients to make a sale. I have no doubts that is why I only enjoyed moderate success as a salesman.

But at least I didn’t need any sleep aids when I hit the sack.

The intrepid investors I served did well, especially those that kept their accounts with me for a while, but no one totally cashed in or cashed out on my watch, so I guess I did alright. Of course, it WAS the eighties, so even a hesitant dumbass like me managed to make money in the cutthroat arena that fuels our economy.

Raytheon, a greedy-ass military contractor,  has been caught lying, cheating, and defrauding our country’s military out of hundreds of millions of dollars, so what does our Secretary of (losing) War led by that douchebag pussy Pedro Hegseth do?

Why REWARD them with hundreds of millions in additional contracts, of course.

Bend over.

“Thank you sir, may I have another!?”

No need for  a silly little thing like a bid to invite competition….

Election Day.

Everybody loses no matter who wins.

I will be checking out the news today to see if the last-minute desperate political campaigns go down to the wire and start turning the page over from one of the darkest periods in American history.

There will be disputes, allegations, and lies told as no one really believes any of the numbers being reported or their validity in choosing our (coughing and saying the word “bullshit” at the same time) “leaders.”

Scarlett O’Hara was right.”

“After all, tomorrow is another day…”

Stay well.
