For a country that was “totally defeated” months ago (if you believe the president), who no longer has the capability to employ nuclear weapons, whose Supreme Leader was killed, and who is at the total mercy of the United States military, they are doing a pretty good job of keeping their middle finger shoved up DJT’s nose and fully controlling the narrative around the Strait of Hormuz don’t ya think?

Every deal they want to make now sees them hesitant and trigger-shy to actually spend some money and highlights their previous string of poor financial moves for players that were too overvalued and for players that never lived up to their potential.
Consequently, this group “achieved” the club’s worst-ever finish in the Premier League.

I say the same thing every year about my favorite college football team the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame, so you KNOW I’m a dreamer…
Only nine weeks until the new season kicks off!
As much as I have shown a dislike for the new college football direction with the money creeping in and finally legally providing the previously-clandestine payola to build teams, no one really knows if this new team system can just assemble all this talent from all over and consistently produce cohesive, winning teams.
I’m as excited as ever for both new seasons to start.
If the Department of (in)Justice is refusing a court order to produce unredacted Epstein files (as if there are any left that the president hasn’t already stolen, destroyed or “lost.”) maybe its time to break up that department and start over.
I’m wondering if, after he leaves office, how long the lingering effects of his thievery, ignorance, and hatred will remain in the American psyche?
